The Midwest Endometriosis Society strives to help women who suffer from endometriosis by sharing our collective knowledge and experience of the illness.
Our goal is to spread awareness through education, activities, and events. We all know someone with endo. One in every 10 women suffers from endometriosis yet, it's rare to find anyone who know its name.
We value our members; every voice within strengthens our message, and with that, our chances of being heard become even greater.
It makes us feel good when we can do something for others. We should not limit that to only those who suffer from endo - because when we are down, who picks us up?
That is why this group is open to more than our endo-sisters. We need those closest to us to be as educated and involved as we are in all respects. We believe that an endo support group that allows men, women, and family to be a part of it, will be stronger because of the collectiveness. Our close friends, family, and especially our partners, are the most important members of our support system - they are also our strongest advocates.
